A 2019W American Memorial Park Quarter is worth about $35-$45 if in BU condition and with good pictures, ungraded.
A 2020 W marsh billings rockafeller sells now around $20-$30 higher if the pictures are nice. also ungraded.
the others falling in the $5-$10 range, sometimes up to $20 each ungraded.
If they haven't fallen by now, they aren't falling, and you can expect that to be the same for the 2020.
these aren't dropping, they already dropped, then they came back up some.
Reality is, S mintmarks were sold in bags and rolls direct from the mint, people can put up dozens, hundreds thousands in BU condition.
For the Ws especially in BU condition, you had to hunt for them, they were mixed in rolls of the P+Ds, and you had to WORK to put together a BU roll of any one design. it's rare to find lots for sale of more than 10 at a time, I can buy rolls of any S mintmark with no issue.
Yeah, there's going to be thousand upon thousands graded, but very few in MS67 or better. and that's not going to get any better as the years pass, while the S mintmarks for the most part are going to be sitting in their mint shipping boxes for the next century or so, all of them. People don't even get the S mints graded much.
they are worth something right now. Mine cost me 25 cents each. A 5 coin ungraded set of either year averages about $100, bit higher for the 2019, bit lower for the 2020. that's not bad for $1.25 face value out of pocket in my book. I don't expect that to get any better with circulation damage and attrition rates as the years pass.
gonna say with the 2019Ws, people said "they all will be under $5 in no time". They certainly dropped after the "newness" period ended, but how many years are we gonna wait until those people finally say "my prediction was wrong".
Just no way they will compare to S mint quarters, literally all of the S mints will be MS for the next 100 years at least. I'd say at least half of the 2019Ws Mintages are already AU and lower, and 2020Ws are right behind them. it sure don't seem like the 2 million were caught in BU state, not when I can find them circulated from customer wrapped rolls, relatively easily. People cared, but not everyone cared and just let em go as any other quarter. It was a big deal, but to exactly how many of the population? I'm the only one in my family that actually cared about them. so that's 1 in 10. how many in your families actually cared to look for them?
I'd say yeah, you probably can get them at some point for $2 -$5 each, but they won't be BU. and that's fine for some folks. there's still going to be the market for the best examples and better examples.
