I hope when the buyer files a dispute, Paypal sides with the seller. It sucks for the seller because they will get negged over it.

The heading of the auction is not clear. It does say "box",
however it's not clear enough IMO.

The seller does list a 7 day money back policy in his sale.
It's surely just coming back to him on those terms.

Now... on the soapbox:
The seller had to KNOW when bidding got that high, something
was off. If it was my auction, I would have emailed the high
bidder and just touched base with them to make sure they knew.
If there was a mistake, you just let the bidder cancel their
bid without issue, and go on with life. No problems. If the
bidder was really bidding on the box, for some unknown reason,
and was happy with the bid, then great... But at least CYA!

Oh, if you look at the bid history...
The bidders with high 'feedback' history all drop out at 23 bux!
The ones that go on from there are newbies.

The buyer realized what the item was, and asked the seller to cancel the sale. Positive feedback was already left by the (non) buyer.

This happened to me last night.

Told the buyer to wait for my invoice on multiple auctions won for the discount. They paid right away before I could even send an invoice. Just another example of how people do not read the descriptions. I of course contacted the buyer about it.

I think that some people have programs to bid a certain amount on certain items- like a lot of times, you look through listings of, say, Morgan dollars, and every one of them has a bid of $2.50 or something on it, for hundreds of coins... Gotta set up your filters REALLY carefully if you're going to do that...
