Intercept Shield Album: How Do You Put A Coin Into A Hole In The Page?

Villa Rose Valued Member United States 68 Posts	Posted 08/13/2021 12:07 pm I just received my new Lincoln Cents (1907-2007) album. But I can't figure out how to insert my coins. Each page seems to be completely sealed around all four corners. Each hole is covered on both sides by a clear film that I can't slide out. There were no instructions included. Intercept Shield's web site doesn't contain any resources or even a way to "Contact Us". I sent a note to the dealer that sold them to me, but they have not yet responded. Ty2020b Pillar of the Community United States 4680 Posts	Posted 08/14/2021 7:48 pm These should be the same as every other album. Unlike Whitman albums, there is no visible pull tab. You must lightly press on one the coin spots and slide the clear plastic window to your right. These clear plastic sheets just slide in from the side. That said, be careful when placing coins in the album, press them in far enough to avoid the clear plastic making contact with the coin when you have to slide the plastic out to insert a new coin. The manufacturer or the dealer (Wizard, in this case) should have given me instructions explaining how to use the product. There's nothing like that on Intercept Shield's web site. Their "Contact Us" instructions point to Wizard's web site. Nothing there either. Surely one or the other can do better for their customers who pay over $30 for this product. Like the Dansco, there are no edge tabs, so you must apply light pressure at one of the coin openings to push the slides out. T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 08/15/2021 09:03 am Just be careful when inserting coin into hole , use a tissue or soft clean cloth when pressing it in . You don't want finger prints or dirt on your coins . Report this Post to the Staff
