norseman012 Valued Member United States 357 Posts	Posted 01/11/2009 4:22 pm I had just received this coin from one of my sources in Iceland a few days ago. Since not to many of you have ever seen a proof coin from Iceland from 1963 back to 1940 when the first one was minted. Only a handful of these coins wore ever minted. I thought it maybe of some interest to some of the members here at CCF who collect Icelandic coins. norseman012 Valued Member United States 357 Posts	Posted 01/11/2009 8:40 pm From 1963 on back to 1940 no mintage records wore ever kept and from my understanding of all I have read or was told not many at all. this is a guess of maybe a 100 or less I only know that I have only came across about 11 or so some on auction records dating back to 1993 and that also includes the 3 I have in my collection.
