I'm not sure what it's technically called but the coin has pronounced doubling on both sides of the coin. Along with it being Wide AM. As for the mint state, really have no clue, just a guess. I will post pictures. Any advice, information, and thoughts, or questions are invited.

. No need for more photos. Your coin looks pretty normal to me. If a member needs more pics they will ask.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary on the coin. The 1988 is normally WAM. Its hard to make out an actual grade. but it does look in the High AU-low MS range from what I can see.

One of the thing that took me a little bit when I started looking at coins close up was the reflection of the light from the sides of the raised areas. This can often look like doubling when it is in fact how the light is reflecting.

Also worn dies can lead to the shapes being slightly stretched, and appear doubled.
