Definitely has obverse environmental damage, which has made it tougher to judge details. VF obverse, but reverse looks XF to me. VF35 Details

Thanks everyone for the help on that, just one more quick question. Now that I've learned ED is not just something I hear about on the radio, do you think it would be wise to soak in water for an hour or so and then rinse under running water to see if anything just loosens up and sloughs off?

do not do anything with this coin, there is virtually nothing except maybe verdicare that can help remove some of it. the last I heard its not available or hard to find. it would not help the value of the coin as the coin has corrosion. just keep it as is.

Sounds like a plan to me. Was hoping some might just be crusty dirt, but I can easily follow wise advice. Thank you!
