The black sulfide/oxide areas don't help with eye appeal, but they don't affect the grade. They are sometimes called 'carbon spots', but they are certainly not carbon. The areas of black toning are in fact, a very shallow form of surface corrosion.

I don't see any wear, so
MS-64.

Wear-wise, it looks UNC, but the reflections and shadowing prevent any kind of assigning a Sheldon number. Just the corrosion makes it a "details" coin.

The 'corrosion' is so shallow, that it does not affect the grade, but it does affect the eye appeal.

The oxides and sulfides of copper are black in color. What you see here is most probably a combination of both.
The finger printing seen on some copper and bronze coins is just another version of a copper sulfide/oxide combination that was caused by sulfur compounds in the natural skin oils in the finger tips, and are there to keep the skin supple, to maintain good natural touch sensitivity.
