I bought this coin in Colombia but with the date 1878 and the edge I think its a fake... What do you think?

Just going to say the same thing.
Compare the obverse and reverse, they are not even the same design.

The design your coin supposes to be is a pattern design. That is a design that was proposed to be used, but never adopted. To the best of my knowledge there was no such pattern made in 1878. It was made in other years but not 1878. An 1878 Trade dollar would have to be the normal design which has a different design as pictured above by JBuck (although somewhat similar)
Either way your coin is a clear fake even if the design were technically correct, the execution is so poor that it is 100% fake.

Yes it is a fake of a pattern coin and as Bigsilver mentioned the pattern was not dated 1878. The obv design was used on patterns with several dates but from what I can see that reverse only comes on patterns dated 1873.
