The mention of Antoninus Pius is probably due to the legend.
AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F (Aurelius Caesar, Augusti Pii Filius) means 'Aurelius Caesar, son of emperor (Antoninus) Pius'. In other words, Marcus Aurelius was Caesar while his 'father' Antoninus Pius was Augustus.
The lone 'I' at the end of the legend on the reverse suggests the full legend would be 'COS II' and this is RIC III Antoninus Pius 429A, AD145-160:
AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F; Head of Marcus Aurelius, bare, right.
COS II; Honos, togate, standing left, holding up branch in right hand and cornucopiae in left.
