singing New Member United States 37 Posts	Posted 09/05/2021 3:15 pm The new microscope is in the mail and a new camera too :) Found this last night- It is discolored although still interesting. I just put it down as bad plating. They go from just a little spot, to almost the whole surface of both sides. Report this Post to the Staff

singing New Member United States 37 Posts	Posted 09/06/2021 01:26 am Gonna be exciting to get this 1995 under the microscope :) The reverse photo shows indenting and what looks like maybe loss of copper plate- this seems to be the case throughout on the obverse and reverse in varying degrees. The obverse photo shows doubling on numbers 9 and 5. Haven't been able to get a good enough look to determine if there is more doubling. Will add more photos asap. Thanks all for the discussion. John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 09/06/2021 04:39 am 100% pure acetone will not hurt it. The gray around the numbers and letters is split copper plating, said to be caused by a type of Machine Doubling. No DDO or DDR. John1 Report this Post to the Staff
