so I just got a couple proof sets and I was just wondering if it would hurt to remove the coins from there package and put them into flips? I would only do this to the sets that dont have there envelope. would it decrease there value in anyway

I am not sure about Canadian proof sets, but most US proof coins are worth more on their own than in sets.

Most of my proof set coins have been removed and placed in Dansco albums. I do have a few intact proof sets for sentimental reasons though.

As a general rule each proof coin is worth more separately than in sets.
