Hello,

So this 1928 D has good detail except I notice a bit of wear on one wheat stalk lines - It appears to have some reddish color to it and some original shine. It gives the coin a nice appearance.

My first thought was this is vf20 - but upon closer inspection on the wheat lines - I wasn't sure if it would actually be f-12.

What do you think? Thanks!

Reverse holds this to F-12, if even that. Personally, I wouldn't pay F money for it, choice-looking as it is. Reverse tends to rule on Lincolns.

Thanks CoinFrog!!

I appreciate your input - Grading is all new to me. But I'd like to learn and be accurate.

i think the sharpness of the overall coin is better than F. it has full sharp rim separation. yes the left stalk is weak but some could be from strike. Net VF25. just my 2c.
