Roll searched through the 70's to 90's and put aside all the pre-1960 one and 5 cent coins. Kept the 1943 cents below because I wasn't sure if it was damage or not ? About 10 years ago I bought $30 of pre-1965 cents (2 cents each) and came across the other one below. I would think the chance of it being 2 accidental nicks is remote. Possibly in an old Zoell variety book ?

Though it's remote chance, it did happen, obviously.

I agree this is just coincidental circulation damage.
