1986 P Lincoln Memorial Cent - Tapered Planchet?

sheldius Pillar of the Community United States 1204 Posts	Posted 09/17/2021 9:04 pm Found this 1986 P Cent in change and initially thought it just had a Ring of Death. But it is thinner than my other cents (at least in two places). The weight is 2.5g,so under the 2.7g a zincoln should be. I have a copper and this coin on scale in second photo to show the scale is reading correctly (combined weight should be 5.7 g). What do you think? Report this Post to the Staff
