Hi guys, I work at a bank in Canada, came across this bill today, I taught it was a nice looking note so I bought it,

I think it's nice. It's not only the old series that was retired, but is also a star note.

Working in a bank, do you see much neat stuff come through?

I have a question: how does "buying" (American notes) in Canada work? Do you have to pay the exchange fee?

wd1040, to answer your questions, yes we have to pay the exchange, so that 20$ costed me 24$

WPG, well we see some altaugh I'm sure there is alot that we dont see, since we use counters and stuff,

Someone Just happend to cash that 20$ so I decided to buy it hehe

It's always nice to work a job where you handle money, especially if you're a collector. Some of my best stuff has come from circulation.
