Not as nice as the one I found the other day but a definite struck through. Unfortunately no design or anything missing so I see little to no premium but still a keeper:)

I actually think I have seem several coins like this in the past but always just though damaged.

Yes, a minor Struck Through Grease, although not even to add much value.
A keeper if your into collecting this type of thing.

I enjoy collecting all errors lol even a big enough die chip or crack is a keeper for me(though it has to be really prominent. But the struck through coins I'm enjoying finding, though it would be nice to find a really big struck through(like half the portrait missing) or a retained struck though

I think I'll give this one to my friend at the bank, he has been getting a little interested with errors so I'm sure having a struck through for reference will help him find some him self.

Edit: I didn't notice it before I was to focused on the big struck through area, there is also a small struck through on the bottom of the middle sail. Though mayb just a water mark but after looking closer it's a tiny struck through as well. Neat.

You have to be somewhat more careful with the solid nickel strikes (prior to 2001), as corrosion can look an awful lot like a strike-through error.

Didn't know that, I have yet to find a struck through pre 2001, steel plated is fairly easy to tell. I know with struck through the core should not be exposed other wise it would be just damaged. If I come across a solid nickel that looks struck through I will have to do more of an inspection, I'm sure it's possible to tell the difference between corrosion and an actual struck through. This is the third I have found in the last couple weeks, 2 Struck Through Grease and 1 struck through rim burr, it would be really Kool to find a retained struck through.

I'm just about to stop at the bank and give this to my buddy. He has a second bank box for me as well, I'll have to pick it up one day after work.
