The black spots could have occurred from someone breathing on the surface while looking at it through a loupe. I don't think they can be removed. The coin looks AU-58. BadThad Bedrock of the Community United States 19963 Posts	Posted 12/17/2021 8:43 pm Wow, a 64! Must be the old TPG key date bump, I don't see that grade at all. If I was buying this coin from a dealer, I'd use Grey Sheet MS-60 as the negotiation point. The reverse corrosion is at the black terminal stage and cannot be removed without making the coin worse.
