Hi guys and good day to everyone.

I hope to get your attention especially swamperbob to my question here on a coin which I was about to purchase.

I refer to this earlier thread on the coin rim details and I happen to notice that it was different from the coin I was about to purchase. Both are from MO mint so I'm wondering why there seems to be the difference.

Here's the picture attachment for comparison.

No reply at all? Sigh... Thought this was an active forum.

Anyway here's the picture of the coin that finally arrives.

It looks like a polished piece which has been harshly cleaned.

Can it regain back its originally look? Even with the polished shining appearance would the buildup of patina when it agee make it look eye-appealing? Would new patina cover up its shiny appearance?
