Animals on coins always make interesting designs, and for Roman coins they are a welcome break from the parade of various deities that usually adorn the reverse (not that they aren't nice too). Can't really pick an absolute favorite, but here is one I do like, and it has an eagle. Antoninianus, 284 AD, Carus (posthumous issue by his son Carinus).
