Here is another set of close up pictures of my latest find. You can make out the spitting horse pretty easily but I want to know if all the damage done to the coin is from a bad die strike or if it looks like it happened during circulation?

The entire coin is riddled with nicks and dings from PMD, not mint errors. However, I have seen many different examples of the 1999-P Delaware Quarter and I believe this is the so called "spitting horse" where the die crack is evident. The die crack is more defined and longer than examples I have personally seen but nevertheless, it is a die crack emanating from the horse's mouth and I would say this is a "spitting horse" example. Just MHO here.

Circulation damage. A few too many photos when one or two would do fine. What are missing are photos of the entire coin, both sides. They always are helpful.

Thanks for the replies...Just goes to show you what I know...I thought I had a coin that had some die issues when it was struck. By looking at the line out of the horses mouth and then seeing some of the letters in the the words they looked to me like they were not struck right. I found this coin in a roll from my bank. Sorry for the amount of photos...I am learning so I hope you guys will be patient with me.
