France 1936 20 Francs Turin - Yay Or Nay

As it seems to be rare enough with 'only' 47k minted I would like to know if its genuine. Grade and value too. Thank You Report this Post to the Staff

Nothing about your coin suggests to me that it might be a fake. A French coin catalogue published in 2017 that I've got lists the value as 400 euros in Fine and 700 in VF. erafjel Pillar of the Community Sweden 2124 Posts	Posted 10/19/2021 2:29 pm I think your 20 francs is genuine. It has correct weight, diameter and edge and the '6' in 1936 has the right look (smaller than the other digits and a bit uneven - it is believed that a single die was used for the low mintage). Grade VF/TB I think, 400 € according to Le Franc 2019. Report this Post to the Staff
