Not sure if this is the right section, This was a coin that picked up while on vacation overseas a long time ago and I forgot about it for a while, until I stumbled upon it now, I'm curious to get more information on it.

I snooped around the Monnaie de Paris website and I am pretty sure I located the source of your souvenir. It appears that the mint creates special tokens for all of their main tourist sites, they are kind of like modern day jetons- http://www.monnaiedeparis.com/colle...rs/jeton.htm
