I think RIDB is correct. Die chips have no connection to the rim and both of these are connected to the rim in one spot. Am I correct? I can not find a listing for this either. Coin is in pretty rough shape though and looks like a VLDS. Thanks much.

They look like cracked dies. There very common.

Back in my day,it was a die chip. I see a die crack and die chips on your coin.What the pros call it now,I don't know.

I agree! That's what I always thought. This is getting rather confusing since I am fairly new to all these varieties. I just enjoy finding them so I think I will just start listing groups and someone else can discover the variety. And no, there is not a crack in that area.
