No. This is a "British Trade dollar", intended for use throughout eastern and southeastern Asia, with the China trade a main target. The goal in creating these coins was to displace the Mexican 8 reales silver dollar, which was universally accepted in the region as a bullion coin. In this they failed, because people still preferred the familiar Mexican dollars.
Exactly which country these ought to be filed under is something of a matter of debate. With no country of issue actually denoted on the coin, other than the figure of Britannia, most non-British-made world coin catalogues (such as Krause) place them under "Great Britain". British coin collectors, however, do not recognize them as part of the British coin series, because they were made in India for use in Asia, so you will not find them listed in the Spink catalogue (for example).
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
