The telltale lines from a harsh cleaning are clearly visible. What NGC might think of it is anyone's guess.

I'd have to say I'd be shocked if it didn't come back as cleaned, that's been through the washer, pretty harsh

Definitely a cleaned coin so "details" is correct.

I've just sent it off to NGC along with 7 other coins and it should back to me in a couple months. This was my experimental one of the lot and I'll post a photo once it comes home.

Came back from NGC as straight grade AU53. Goes to show you never can tell. Very happy with that as I had prepared myself for XF details cleaned.

'Buy the coin, not the holder' is the 2nd best set of advice in the hobby. The NGC cert is 2884334 - 007 if anyone wants to check out the final photos.

On the same submission though my 1745 Lima Shilling came back reverse cleaned, AUD. Did not see that one coming and it goes both ways for sure. 2884334 - 004. The other six coins came back about how I expected. Those were the two surprises.
