Yes, if you are wanting us to trouble shoot the side of the coin you see issues, it is usually appropriate to show us the entire side so we can corelate the close up images.

But that being said, I do see some die cracks, and I think that they are in the usual spots found on these coins.

Thanks for the reverse photo. You certainly do have a lot of cracks there on this cent! Most are, as Dearborn has said, in the usual spots we see a lot. Not sure what the crack market is (wait, that didn't sound quite right)... I don't know what sort of demand there is for a cracked up cent... you might want to check ebay's SOLD listings for what similar coins might sell for.

Being a 1982, you may want to weigh it to determine if it's copper or zinc. Then look up the 1982 error varieties, I think there were 7 known on purpose varieties made during that transition year, but there was an accidental one struck with dies for the zinc penny, but a copper planchette got in the barrel, so to speak. Since your checking it for crack errors, you may as well check it for the other error too.

Never mind, I just checked and the rare error 1982, is a 1982-D, Small Date, on a copper planchette. Your isn't Denver, sorry.
