bmeadows6266 New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 12/20/2021 7:07 pm My name is Meadows. I'm from Bluff Park, Alabama. I started collecting coins after my grandfather, who was a postmaster, introduced me to stamp collecting almost 41 years ago. I know, sounds weird, but that's how it began. I don't know much about coins but that's due to me admiring the detail of a coin. The new stuff is alright..it's the old ones that get me going. And by me saying that it's funny how a 2013 S proof Great Basin quarter led me here. So, now I know what a proof quarter is - LOL! Anywho, I collect coins from all over the world. I also like a few other types: Tokens (old game room, parking, toll, bus..), certain types of challenge coins, and last but not least - coins that make you go, "huh?!" I have also found 2 coins (one in particular) that I cant figure out. The first one is Spanish but not from Mexico, Central or South America. But the other? I haven't a clue. Maybe I'll post for help on that. I joined coincommunity to learn from people that are way more educated than I when it comes to coins. I'm excited to be here and look forward to learning and hopefully someday helping others if need be. Report this Post to the Staff

On those coins that make you go huh?, is the whole point of my username here and boy have I learned much! There are ways to properly post all sorts of pictures and images that we love to see here, and yeah, I went thru a learning curve also, but now got this down pretty good. We can't wait to see what you have especially if you have questions... Do you see a date on that Spanish coin, a clue is if it says Espana?
