Hello all,

So I'll give a brief description of why I'm creating this topic. About a year ago or so, I had a reputable ebay account that I bought and sold from, and it was quite perfect (I had always wanted to be able to deal with coins, and ebay was the only option I saw). Well, I ended up messaging an individual who was selling a damaged coin for a couple grand, just to politely alert them that it was not worth the couple thousand dollars they were selling it for. Apparently they didn't like the idea that their coin wasn't worth that much, and they reported me, which for some reason caused ebay to instantly ban my account permanently. I tried to reason with customer support but to no avail.

I was furious, but I thought that later on I could create a new ebay account and go on with things, even with the huge setbacks. I tried that recently, and I was once again instantly banned as soon as I made my first listing. And now there really is no way around their claws as the introduction of providing your SSN has locked out all possiblities for me being able to return to ebay ever again.

This of course was extremely upsetting to me, as selling on ebay was a dream of mine (say what you want about such a dream, but I was very excited to get into the business field). And now...my dream seems to be dead.

However, I know there are other sites out there similar to ebay, but I don't really know which one is the best. I know Etsy is quite good, but not so much for coins.

So what I'm asking is, what would you recommend for me to do now? What site could I possibly use? What site do other people on the forum use that don't use ebay? Should I just give up at this point?

Thank you all very much.

There are a lot of coin buying/selling pages on Facebook, but you must take the time to figure out which ones are the best and which ones have rules you can live with.

Gotcha, I wonder if there's one anyone can recommend for the selling of variety and errors and all of that.

Is it fair to say that I'm kind of screwed at this point? Is there really nothing I can do?
