Another piece of history that my family has kept. While I wish this was in better condition I guess I still wouldn't sell it anyway. I did sell some of the old coins, but that was because there were so many of which I had many examples. For instance, there were over 100 of 1883 nickels and 1892 dimes.

This is an interesting one-year type note bearing the florid signature of Treasurer Francis Spinner. Spinner resigned the following year (1875) after a quarrel with Alison over the former's hiring authority.
