1859 Cent 5 Restruck, But Very Different. Help With Identification.

Recently dug this penny out of my file. My camera is not available, so used an old (poor) camera. Still, the 5 is clearly quite different. There are three areas that stand out, the inside bottom curve, the top of the curve, and clear doubling on the ball of the 5. Has anyone seen this 5 before?

Your coin is a 1859 DP9 #4 in G condition but the 9 is worn down

I agree with the DP#4. You should have a nice die crack from the tip of the 7th leaf to the denticle. They (the 4's) are hard to find. Leaf 1 is at about 12:30 and just above the right upright of the N. Count clockwise from leaf 1 and leaf 7 ia at about 4:00

Thanks! This is the first one that has really stumped me. Even in these terrible coin photos I can easily see the die crack at leaf 7. And you're right, I never have found a DP#4 - till now. Oh well, better than none. I appreciate the help.

yontan, do you know about the Haxby site for 1859 coins its a really good site for researching 1859's with a number system for tracking die's as well as varieties.
