to the best place to help you out with anything coin related! What you have here is called Chinese spade money and if genuine is extremely old (on the order of at least 1,500 years old), The value if genuine would be at least several hundred dollars, possibly more. What I would do in your case is to take it to a legit foreign coin collector/dealer (which most of us here on coincommunity are already) and check for authenticity. I am sure others will chime in here.

Hello and welcome.

This spade coin almost certainly is not genuine. Genuine spade coins have been in the ground for several thousand years, and have a thick green patina. This item does not have a patina at all.

Replica spades like this are often encountered in the tourist shops in China, and have been since before World War II and the Communist takeover.
