This looks to be a "closed 9". Sorry for the 2x2 holder, I'm currently out of them and didn't want to "set it free" for long. By the way, I'm American raised in Ohio where we regularly saw Canadian coins in circulation. My grandfather collected these either at his grocery store early 20th C. or during WWI when he shipped through Montreal to Nova Scotia and on to England and France.

Agreed - that's a nice one actually. Problem-free G6, closed 9. Trends would put it at around $200 CAD.
