2001 Canada Nickel Matte Finish?

Thanks. Since my last find, I haven't come across any more. I've put off searching Canadian rolls for the last few weeks because I made some bulk purchases of U.S. cents and foreign coins. I think what you say has some merit because I've found some BU Lincoln cents that have the same appearance. I'm not totally familiar with the coin-making process but every response makes me look into it a little deeper. Thanks, again.
