Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can help me with these two medallions I just obtained. Does anyone know who released them, or where they came from? I know they were not RCM releases, but I can't seem to find any information about them online. They are supposedly silver plated and approximately 38mm in diameter.
The coin on the left features the effigies of monarchies who have appeared on Canadian coins. The other side of it feature individuals (mostly PMs) who have appeared on Canadian banknotes.
The coin on the right features various animals that have appears in Canadian coins, and the other side features symbols that have appeared on Canadian coins.
Also, does anyone know who the monarch is on the top left? It appears to be a similar portrait to ones of George V on some UK coins (but I don't remember him appearing that way on any Canadian coins. Also, that would mean that his effigy is on there twice, as that is him in the bottom right (as he appeared on Canadian coins.
Also, does anyone know who the uniformed individual is on the left alongside the other PMs?
I really like these unique pieces, and am glad they are in my collection. Just trying to find some info on them in the meantime. Anything anybody has would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Coin dealer in Halifax had those made. Also were available in gold-plated versions.
