It can be in cardboard holder for pennys and it will still jump towards the magnet

I even put the magnet in my wallet and the penny still jumped and stuck to my wallet

Plated copper cent. Steel ones are 2.7, Zinc ones are 2.5 and copper ones are 3.11. So it has extra weight added onto the surface. It is just a spender. Someone was messing with it.

So if I scratch a spot around the Collar it should reveal Copper?. And if it doesn't show any copper ?

Around the outside edge of the coin. Yes, you will see the copper under the plating.

And also the Plating looks kind of thick where it is chipped can that be the extra weight because thick Plating?
