Please explain where you see DDO.
The mint mark has split plating indicating it is zinc.

that is a small date Denver mint Zinc coin. (you can see the zinc substrate showing beneath the mint mark).

Yeah, the split plating gives it away, your coin here is zinc, not copper, but is indeed a small date. It should weigh 2.5 grams. The gray colour is zinc showing through.
