France - I Think ! Not Much To Go On, Very Worn.

Any ideas what this might be ?
I was thinking it was from France as I can make out the last letters of "liberte" and the start of "egalite". A very large shield like shape on one side and what might have been an inscription around the rim.
Copper ? diameter around 27/28mm and 18.3g weight.
Not much to go on I know.

You are thinking quite right, it is a 1 sol from 1793-94, so French revolution. Here is the Numista page: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6115.html

What is strange is the weight: The 1 sol should weigh about 12 g; 18 g is the weight of a double sol, but that has a diameter of 32-34 mm (and slightly different proportions in the design, yours looks like a 1 sol).
