Looks similar to an early English Trade Token

York Coins sold a similar one with the description "Wine Tavern Street types, Pewter Token", i.e. from a hoard found in that street in Dublin, which is where "Dublin" and "wine" come from. They are English trade tokens, though, as coaster says http://yorkcoins.com/h5201_-_englan...er_token.htm

Yours is a really nice example.
