I saw a few sets on ebay being sold in what I believe was a capital holder. It keeps the cellophane intact. I can't seem to find the holder for sale anywhere. anyone seen one?

If you can't find an appropriate Capital holder,
it is still possible to make your own out of three sheets of acrylic plastic of appropriate thickness.

They can be fused at the corners with a tiny droplet of Super Glue. Experiment first.

Holes of appropriate diameter can be made with a hole saw and filed to the exact diameter with a rat tail file or half round file as appropriate, to the diameter of the coin.

For labelling, it is possible to use a printer onto 80 GSM paper, and pit those between the slabs. Spray the labels with clear acrylic laquer and pin point point of super glue to fix in place before joining the sheets together.

Before proceeding with any of the above, see where you get by 'phoning Capital Plastics first.

Is this the type of holder to which you are referring?

If it is, my understanding is that Capital Platics hasn't made them in decades. You can still sometimes find them for sale on the secondary market, but most will have been used.

Hope that helps!

Sel and commems. thank you for your thoughts and insights. I'll keep searching because my DIY skills stink.
