Curious about the color. I do not see any nickel anywhere I was just curious if this is common on these Buffalo nickels, or if this has been abused somehow. It looks like its in pretty good shape to me. Thanks for looking!

I agree it probably spent some time in the ground, you can still see dirt on the coin.
