Trying to give real color and detailed look at coin both camera and scope. Work in progress. Any help is appreciated. Do you think this grades high enough? BadThad I am still not there with sharpness of camera. Maybe to close? lighting?

66, maybe 67

Looks like you're not letting it focus. Half press shutter, it will focus, then full press.

I do wait obviously not long enough. Everything should stop blinking?. Stupid question but it never fully comes into focus sometimes I wait 15 or 20 seconds. I think I am getting closer to better pictures just at a snails pace. They are not as green as before.

Don't trust the screen! Half press only lasts 0.5 seconds, it WILL focus regardless of what the screen shows unless it's total fuzz on the screen. If it's that bad, then you're too close! I don't pay any attention to lights on the camera.

1) Set camera in position.
2) Press halfway and hold halfway down 0.5-1 sec
3) Press fully to snap

Well BadThad I wait much longer than that. Besides that dumb mistake I was overthinking. It has to be my light configuration. I will experiment with the lighting tonight if I don't strangle these kids before then. LOL

That's why the pics are blurry. Unless your camera is defective, the auto-focus is almost instant and that calibration is only good for as long as the camera never moves.
