Second set of pics needs an increase in lighting.
Best advice I can give is keep taking pictures and examine them as you adjust the angle and intensity of the lighting. Shoot for lighting that shows the luster, but does not drown out the surfaces.
Then examine the photos, and ask yourself, does this photo represent the coin as it looks in hand. I find lately that rather than covering the light source, I get better results with it being further away so that it diffuses naturally and isn't so direct.
Typically I just use my 8x Bausch and Lomb hastings loupe held over the camera lense on my Galaxy note20 cell phone and get sufficient results so long as I can keep the phone steady.
I usually just place the coin above my knee and adjust the angle or turn my desk chair to adjust lighting till the color is accurate..note the denim background.
Just try different things till you find what works for you.
Notice how detailed the surfaces are in the photo, as you would see it in hand through a loupe.
