The Native American Sacagawea dollar coin edge lettering reads incorrectly when the obverse of the coin faces up. Appears to be a Position B? I took additional photos of the Obverse and Reverse with views of the incorrect orientation of the Lettering/Date. Any thoughts? Thanks.

On these coins, the edge lettering is applied after and separately from the initial strike. the newly struck coin then enters another machine to have the edge lettering applied - this is where the coin enters randomly.

The only exception is proof coins, on those the edge lettering is done by the collar.
