The sad part is that so many people have no idea about the coins that circulated prior to 1964. I laughed so hard when my brother brought home 3 morgans a guy used to purchase some cigarettes at the local gas station.

Key dates certaintly still are out there, a customer where I work who is also a roll searcher pulled a 1877 in xf as well as several barbers out of a box. I myself pulled a 1883 with cents out of a box of nickels. Just take a look at some of the stuff Bill O'Rourke has on his foundinrolls site he has some amazing finds up there too. All it takes is patience and a bit of luck.
