I came across this beauty yesterday. I don't know much about it other than I hope the weird gold luster is an indicator of value and it definitely has South Carolina over Georgia on the reverse and possibly New York, Mass, Georgia, or Soouth Carolina on the obverse under Washington. I can't tell for sure but it's definitely been struck more times than a? Anyhow, any info would be great as to value, authentication, etc. The pics aren't amazing. They simply provide an overview. I'm not educated nor talented enough to know how to take nice clean detailed shot. Thank you for your time and input.

My mistake in Header. 2001 P South Carolina. I apologize for inconsistency.

First of all it is a 2000 quarter, not a 2001. Please change header.
Also what you are saying is impossible to happen when the coin was struck.
It can't possibly be struck over Georgia as they were produced in 1999.
What you have is a quarter that looks like it has some corrosion and wear that
possibly is making you see something that is not there.
Value is 25 cents

Look at the peach right in the center of the coin. Reverse. I honestly don't think it's corrosion. It's definitely unique. No disrespect, I spend a lot of time making sure I don't waste your time with something rediculous.
