1953 And 1958 Lincoln Wheat Cents - With Issues ?

dbrablec Pillar of the Community United States 1944 Posts	Posted 01/30/2009 1:16 pm I have found two Lincolns with a similar "issue". I really don't know if these are post-mint damage or something that happened at the mint. under magnification, they do NOT appear to be normal wear, as is evident on the rest of the coin. they almost resemble a healed scar. can someone help me understand what this might be, and if it adds to, or subtracts from the value of the coin? thanks.
