I know these are not coins . I inherited these silver bars. between these and the Morgans I'll be pulling my hair out. I'm looking for help on value.1st i'll describe the silver to the best of my ability; They were produced by the Hamilton Mint in 1974, they are titled America's Greatest Events, they are .999 Fine Silver with 24k E.G.P.(layered in 24k gold),each bar is 1 troy oz.(31.1 grams). Each bar has a special event on the obv. & a description of the event on the rev. There were 5000 sets produced (50 pieces to a set). Every piece has the same serial # on the side. I know the spot value of silver, so I guess what I'm wondering is the value of these pieces seeing that it is a complete set. Any info. on these would be very helpful. I would like to thank everyone in advance.

While they were most likely sold for much higher than bullion value when they were issued by the "Hamilton Mint" (whoever they are), it's not likely that you'll get much more than bullion value for them.
