Hi. I'm new to collecting and new to this site. Thank you for allowing me to join. I am hoping to learn a lot. I have a coin I would like you to look at if that is ok. It is a 1951 S nickel with an inverted S (on the Cents reverse side). Please advise me on this?
To the CCF This is just damage. From what? Maybe caustic elements, circulation, hard to tell. You will see a lot of things on coins that is just damage. I sometimes have to look at thousands of coins before I find an error or variety. Stick with us, you'll find something eventually.
