Forgive me if this is a duplicate post. I originally posted in the world coin category but thought it would get more exposure here. Anyway I am not sure of what pick up point to look for on the 1988 libertad for the DDR. I think it may be the numerals.999 I can't find an image of the DDR on the web but I wonder if this is it?

I was able to find a slabbed NGC example graded MS-66 (2723308-004) for a comparison. That is the DDR 001. It shows distinct doubling of the 999 and the letters C an O of Mexico, so my coin is not that. There exists another DDR 002 which I haven't been able to find an image for comparison. I can only assume that my coin is not the DDR for which only 30 have been found but I am still pleased that it is a scarce key date in any condition.
