Nothing special but I normally don't find decent shape older 5cents while roll hunting, this example has a nice die crack on the reverse and several smaller ones on the obverse so I assume a very tiered die. This specific die crack is not listed on any of the CAC examples but it could just be there is to many examples for this year to fit in there page lol. So just figured I'd share.

That is a well known progressive die crack. It eventually leads to a substantial die break around that maple leaf. You might see an example coming up for sale in a future Geoffrey Bell Auction (as part of a lot of minor errors).

Thanks SPP. So is the dime die crack I posted the other day non progressive? Iv only seen mine and CACs example. I'm not sure how to determine what is more uncommon for these kinds of errors. Up untill like 2 weeks ago every for crack I came across just went back into the rolls and out to circulation.

I personally think a progressive die crack sounds more interesting because you can have several stages of it and watch how severe it gets. A non progressive die crack sounds interesting just because they must have swapped out the die before it progressed further but may have happened due to a die event making it possible there are not many examples out there.
